Aoshima 1:700 HMS Jervis British Destroyer 057667
HMS Jervis was laid down by R & W Hawthorn, Leslie & Company Ltd and commissioned in 1939. During 1940 she was assigned to the Mediterranean and appointed to the 14th Destroyer Flotilla. Jervis was engaged in many missions such as fleet guard and transporting operations until the end of the war, and she eared 13 battle honours after the HMS Warpite's 15 honours. Despite a long and active career, not one of her crew was lost to enemy action. Therefore Jervis had a reputation as a lucky ship. After the was she was handed over for demolition and broke up in Scotland.
